The Montebello Unified School District Transportation Department transports an average of 4,000 students on 80 buses daily. The District transports students from kindergarten through12th grade. We also transport students with special needs.

The Transportation Department is committed to safety. We have never had a serious injury accident in over 50 years of service. Let's keep it up! Please observe a few school bus safety tips when riding on the school bus.

The District is also committed to reducing air pollution. The Transportation Department operates a fleet of 31 compressed natural gas (CNG) school buses. These alternative fuel buses emit very low levels of pollution compared to gasoline or diesel-fueled vehicles.

The District serves the cities of Montebello, Monterey Park, Bell Gardens, City of Commerce, East Los Angeles, Pico Rivera, and South San Gabriel.
