National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Schedule

In California, approximately 250 school districts and 750 schools are participating in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) this school year (i.e., NAEP 2012).Participating schools have been assigned a specific test date within this window, and most of the assessments will take approximately 90 minutes for students to complete. NAEP 2012 includes: (1) operational assessments in reading, mathematics, and science; (2) pilot assessments in reading, mathematics, science, U.S. history, geography, and civics; and (3) special studies including the High School Transcript Study, the National Indian Education Study, and the Socioeconomic Status Indicator Study.
