Board of Education Meetings

Regular Board of Education meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. (open session), in the Board Room, 123 S. Montebello Boulevard, Montebello, CA 90640 unless otherwise noted.  The community is cordially invited to all meetings except those designated as "closed session only."

 

The first meeting of the month will include presentations from the Associations, parents and student representatives.

 

Agendas for all regular meetings are posted in advance, typically the Friday prior to the meeting.  Agendas may be viewed at the District Office lobby and on the District website.

 

If you would like to address the Board of Education during a meeting, please fill out a Speaker Request Form, available on the table as you enter the meeting location and give it to the Executive Assistant.  These forms will be used by the President of the Governing Board to call on speakers.   Time for public comment is limited to three minutes. The Board will not normally comment on public statements or engage in a dialogue with the audience during the meeting.  Speakers with specific questions will usually be referred to the Superintendent of Schools or the appropriate office. Speaker Request Cards will be accepted during the first twenty minutes after the meeting has been called to order.
