Bond Measure GS

The funds received from Bond Measure GS will be expended on construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation and replacement of District facilities. Examples of authorized projects include, but are not limited to: constructing and renovating classrooms; upgrading and building access ways in compliance with laws; updating information and technology systems and equipment including network expansion, wireless access and other communication and administrative systems; repairing, improving and constructing additional athletic facilities including gyms and sports fields; making exterior and interior improvements to conserve power and water, as well as improve and repair roofs, lighting, security, alarm, communication and electrical systems; repairing and improving existing and older buildings on District campuses; replacing or upgrading existing water, sewer, plumbing and storm drain systems; upgrading restrooms, plumbing and drinking fountains; upgrading, repairing and equipping classrooms and science laboratories; upgrading facilities to comply with Federal and State-mandated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements; installing security systems; removing or abating hazardous materials from buildings; and upgrading and replacing classroom furniture.
