Graduation Requirements for Transitional Kinder to 8th Grade (TK-8) Students We want to remind students and families about our new district graduation requirements so you can prepare for these upcoming changes that will take into effect in the 2023-2024 school year. Starting in the fall of 2023, all ninth grade students and future incoming ninth grade students will be required to meet a new set of graduation requirements that are aligned to university entrance coursework requirements known as the a-g courses. The Montebello Unified School District strives for every student to graduate from high school ready for college and career opportunities.
