Common Core and Nutrition Standards Matrix

Lesson Resources

USDA Team Nutrition has resources that are available to download online, or order through their order form. Team Nutrition offers a nutrition picture book for preschool, and MyPlate curricula for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, and 5th and 6th grade. There are also gardening curricula for preschool, 3rd and 4th grade, and 5th and 6th grade.

California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom provides a variety of lessons integrating nutrition, ecology, and core subjects for all grade levels. These and other resources may be ordered for free under the "Request Materials" link.
