Temporary teachers are not on the seniority list
Administrators are placed on the Certificated Seniority list according to SB 813, Section 44956.5. This section limits the amount of time a site administrator could gain on the seniority list. Site administrators who had teaching assignments in the District retain their seniority ranking. Site administrators prior to 1983 remain on the seniority list in the order in which they appear prior to 1983. Those site administrators initially hired into the District as site administrators after 1983 can only be credited with a maximum of three years seniority on the classroom teacher seniority list. For this reason, site administrators are placed on the list according to this regulation. Administrators who were not designated as "Site Administrators" or who had not been a teacher in the District are no longer on the seniority list at all.
If you see any discrepancies in the Seniority list, please email Dolores Villasenor at: firstname.lastname@example.org . Once Certificated Human Resources has reviewed and concurs with the change, this information will be used to update the District Seniority List.
